BetAmerica launch the BetAmerica Radio Network (BARN)
SAN FRANCISCO, January 12, 2016 – BetAmerica has launched a new radio network that will produce several weekly podcasts and include live video broadcasts of featured Handicapping Contests.
The new initiative has been launched with the promise of producing horse racing related media which is humorous, informative and passionate.
“We’re always looking to make racing more exciting and we’re confident we can change the way in which racing media is consumed” said Pete Laverick, Director of Marketing for BetAmerica,”Racing is an entertainment activity for the vast majority of fans and we’re trying to enhance that enjoyment factor by introducing several new features, exclusive promotions and some interesting characters.”
Hosting the BetAmerica Radio Network (BARN) broadcasts and live web streaming events will be Jason Beem, previously race caller at Portland Meadows, River Downs and Louisiana Downs.
The BARN will begin broadcasting later this week with the first live webcast show planned for the evening of Friday, Jan 22, centered around the Horse Player World Series live qualifier on the BetAmerica website. Details of how to listen and view BARN are available at www.betamerica.com/barn
