Good things come to those who wait, and we’ve waited long enough to find out who the main man is in the heavyweight division. Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury will face off Feb. 22 in a rematch of their 2018 clash. Today, we'll take a look at the most likely, and most rewarding, outcomes ahead of their bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Tyson Fury to win by decision (+130)

Following Wilder’s repeat knockout win over Luis Ortiz and Fury’s uneven performance against Otto Wallin, Fury is still a slight favorite at -120. Fury will be in better shape than their first clash, and Wilder had no answers for Fury and was being outboxed by Ortiz last fall. Wilder has shown nothing in his last two performances to indicate he can solve Fury’s unorthodox style, which makes Wilder vulnerable to yet another boxing lesson.

Considering the latest money has come in off of the heels of Wilder’s eye-catching KO, this is the best time to take this particular bet.

Deontay Wilder knockout in 12 (+2800)

Wilder’s power cannot be avoided, and if he is similarly flummoxed by Fury, he might be desperate and in need of a knockout to win. In the first fight Wilder nearly decapitated Fury in the last round, only for Fury to inexplicably survive, and there is a good chance Wilder will swing for the fences if he’s down on the cards. As each round progresses, Wilder will be inclined to abandon strategy and stick to his guns, which makes a final-round KO plausible.

It wouldn’t be wise to bet against Wilder’s power, but the best chance he has of stopping Fury is going to come late in the fight.

Deontay Wilder to Win by decision (+800)

If Wilder scores a knockdown or wins close rounds, he could edge Fury on the cards. Also, should Wilder open up that nasty cut Fury suffered against Wallin, his sharp jabs could bloody Fury up worse than Wallin did, with a technical decision to potentially follow.

Fury is the best bet

All things considered, fans would be wise to place their bets on an undervalued and far better prepared Fury in this anticipated heavyweight showdown.
