A TV audience of over 20 million is expected to watch the 143rd Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 6, 2017.

Many more races, including the Kentucky Oaks on Friday, May 6, will also be carried live as the broadcaster also utilizes its NBC Sports channel. This year’s live TV coverage from Churchill Downs will also be offered online at NBC Sports and via the NBC Sports Live App, available on iOS and Android.


What Time is the 2017 Kentucky Derby?

The main event will be broadcast as part of a three hour live broadcast on NBC from 4pm ET, with the race due to start at 6:34pm ET.
