Thursday’s Featured NHL Game Prediction

Vegas Golden Knights vs. Minnesota Wild, Thursday, 8:08 p.m. ET

I was bullish on the Vegas Golden Knights, even when they had difficulty finding their form earlier in the season. They've won eight of their last 10 games to take a three-point lead in the Pacific Division. They visit the Minnesota Wild on Thursday in a battle of two teams playing their best hockey of the season. The Wild have won seven of their last 10 games to get back into the thick of the Western Conference playoff race and are 19-11-5 on home ice. Despite my opinion that Vegas will represent the West in the 2020 Stanley Cup Final, I do like the Wild to take tonight's matchup at odds of +100 on the moneyline. They've had four days in between games following a three-game road trip through California, and they've been scoring at a good clip recently. The Golden Knights are also without leading goal scorer and point producer Max Pacioretty, which should have an impact on the result. Expect a close game but take the Wild to win.
