Two 7-horse divisions will be behind the gate at The Meadowlands on Saturday for the TVG Free For All Pace, vying for a piece of $50K in races 6 and . In the first division in post 5 is Razzle Dazzle, winner of the George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series back in April at Yonkers. And in the second division is Foiled Again, the horse that Razzle Dazzle beat by a neck.

This promises to be a hotly contested series with lots of talent behind the gate. One question that looms large is whether Razzle Dazzle can carry his talent from the half-mile Yonkers track to Meadowlands one mile oval. He'll be facing horses that have pretty impressive credentials of their own.

Warrawee Needy is coming back from winning the Preferred Pace at Woodbine and looms as a threat from the 6 post. Golden Receiver, the 8/5 favorite, has won over half of his races this year and is very quick to take the lead and always determined to keep it.

Even off layoffs, Sweet Lou and Dynamic Youth are not to be taken lightly. Both have trainers who can get horses into condition after time off and have been competitive in all of their races. Dancin' Yankee might be at 15-1, but if you'll notice, he's hit par for this race a few races back and missed the win by a half length. And Meirs Hanover is also rounding back into form with a win in his last race. Golden Receiver does look like the one to beat here.

In the second division in race 11, Hurrikane Kingcole is the morning line favorite at 2-1 with Foiled Again, right next to him, at 5-2. They certainly look formidable, although Hurrikane King Cole is moving up in class here and Foiled Again has only had 1 win out of 29 races at The Meadowlands.

Fred and Ginger in the 1 post looks good for a piece of the exotics and I wouldn't count out Casimir Jitterbug either for a longshot play. Mr Hasani N hasn't shown anything in 4 races here, but might do better this time around after a stint at Yonkers and Harrah's. I think Dial or No Dial is the sleeper here though. Modern Legend looks like he's in over his head, although he does have some back class and back speed.

In races 2 and 8, the eliminations start for the Arthur J Cutler Memorial Trot. Wishing Stone is the morning line favorite in the first elimination with Guccio and Sevruga also favored. In the second elimination in the 8th race, Modern Family is coming off 3 wins with very good speed figures and will probably be the favorite. Mister Herbie is back also after qualifying with a 10 1/4 length win in an 8 horse race. I'd say he's well rested and deserves to be the second favorite or maybe the first.

Wishing safe trips and good racing luck to all the horses and drivers on the Saturday card at The Meadowlands.
