We have reached the end of the 2010s, and fans are debating the great players that have played in the Premier League throughout the decade. Luis Suarez, Pablo Zabaleta, Tim Cahill, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, Frank Lampard, Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Paul Pogba, and Son Heung-min are among the many stars that have dominated the Premier League over the past 10 years.

However, when picking a team that embodies the decade, the debate gets fiercer. Who makes it over whom? Does otherworldly talent outweigh consistency and championships? Can one player make an impact in just a couple seasons that places him on the list over someone who had been a part of the league for most of the decade? Do you go for someone who played early in the decade, or does recency bias kick in?

We’ve compiled a list of the best players to hit the pitch in the English Premier League during the 2010s. Who made the cut? Who just missed? Take a look at our EPL all-decade team.
