Bettors say Wilder wins by KO as odds flip
Public support is shifting towards Deontay Wilder winning Saturday night’s blockbuster heavyweight fight against Tyson Fury in Las Vegas.
Once the underdog, Wilder’s odds have flipped from +121 into -120 favoritism at BetAmerica following a number of significant bets for the American over the past month. In the same period, Fury’s odds have drifted from -157 to +100.

Most bettors believe the fight won’t go the distance, which is the -135 preferred option over the fight lasting the full 12 rounds (+100).

In BetAmerica’s Fight Outcome market, Deontay Wilder by KO, TKO or Disqualification is the favorite option, with the odds of that outcome moving considerably from +165 to +110.
"We’ve been taking bets on this fight for a year and Fury was favorite right up until the start of this month, but sentiment has shifted significantly towards Wilder over the past two weeks," said BetAmerica’s Andrew Brown.
