BIM BAM is 12-1 on the morning line for the Sunshine Millions Turf, but is worth a gamble in one of the more wide open races on the Sunshine Millions card at Gulfstream Park. The seven-year-old just won at Remington Park in November and has been training over the dirt at Oaklawn, but the race should set up for him and the way the turf course has been playing, Bim Bam could upset the apple cart. BAD DEBT and TUNE ME IN are the morning line favorites and hail from top barns. The two seven-year-old geldings both run on or close to the pace, which has not been the place to be lately over the Gulfstream turf. Horses this week have run 50-second half miles, but have been mowed down late. SPRING UP and OLD TIME HOCKEY are the California shippers and both look capable on their best day. Spring Up has won back-to-back races for trainer John Sadler and picks up Joe Bravo in the irons while Old Time Hockey has some back class, Grade 2 winner, and will get Hall-of-Famer Gary Stevens to ride. Stevens is in town to ride Breeders' Cup Classic winner Mucho Macho Man in the Sunshine Millions Classic. MMM is 2-5 in that race, but the connections are hoping this year is better than last year when he was pulled up as odds-on favorite.
