Mahoning Valley, Race 5: Maiden special weight (5 1/2 furlongs, 2:36 p.m. ET)

Trainer Jeffrey Radosevich has gone 3-for-6 to start the Mahoning Valley meet, and he can keep his momentum going with #5 Sieglinde (6-1 on the morning line) in Tuesday’s maiden sprint for juvenile fillies.

A daughter of champion 2-year-old Midshipman, Sieglinde enters off a pair of third-place efforts sprinting 6 furlongs at Thistledown. On both occasions, Sieglinde flashed significant speed, carved out the pace, and weakened in the final furlong. The cut back slightly in distance should help Sieglinde’s chances, and she’ll retain the services of jockey Luis Rivera, who has gone 4-for-9 to start the meet.

At 6-1, a win bet is in order. But we’ll also key Sieglinde in the exacta with #4 I’ll Make It Coach (4-1) and #6 Scenic Overlook (7-2).

$12 to win on #5 Sieglinde
$2 exacta: 5 with 4,6 ($4)
$7 exacta: 4,6 with 5 ($14)
Total: $30

Good luck!
