Welcome to another Friday doubleheader of highly entertaining and exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 18 races on the program for both the matinee and evening cards for your viewing and wagering pleasure. This week MoneyMaker Mike will be selecting several races where a greyhound has at least a two race winning streak going. We did this last season and the results were interesting as only a few greyhounds were able to win 3 or more during the study. I've listed these races below for greyhound fans and racing fans in general to check out and I will continue this thru Sunday and then give a recap on how the greyhounds fared in their quest to keep their winning streaks going. Always remember that BETAMERICA is just a click away for your wagering opportunities or for any questions or comments you may have. Thanks for reading and good luck.

Friday matinee

Race 7 - 583 yards - Grade A - PJ HOLD MY OWN - She looks like the real deal indeed as she goes for her fifth straight win in the matinee. So far she's had 7 starts and is 7 out of 7 in top four finishes and has skyrocketed up in class going from Grade M to Grade A by winning 4 straight in just 3 weeks. An inside runner with lots of early speed and a late kick as well, sit back and enjoy this talented greyhound in the coming weeks and months as she definitely has a bright racing future.

Friday evening

Race 13 - 660 yards - Grade AA - MEGA KANSAS - 5 box - Winner of two straight, look for this slow starter out of the box to be gaining ground fast down the stretch. He's given solid efforts from any box position so a shot at making it 3 in a row isn't out of the question.

Race 13 - 660 yards - Grade AA - CBJ TIAS LUV - 6 box - Also on a two race winning streak and in the same race is this hard running female. She's an inside runner but just two races ago won from the same 6 box she has in this race.

Race 17 - 703 yards - Grade TAA - FLYING SNAPDRAGON - Here is a very talented young greyhound who in just 14 official starts at Southland has 10 top four finishes which already includes 4 wins. He will be trying to make in 4 straight here and drawing a good box position for his inside running style bodes well for his chances even though the competition will be the toughest he has faced yet.
