Welcome to another Thursday twilight card of entertaining and exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 18 races on tap for your viewing and wagering pleasure. As many of you know who follow MoneyMaker Mike's Southland previews, from time to time I like to go outside the box with picks and predictions and for several programs last week and this week, I have been monitoring those greyhounds who are going for three or more straight wins. I did this a few months back and I was surprised to see that only a few were able to make it three wins in a row during that study. This is the last night of the week long study and as always I will post the results of how these greyhounds did in the next few days and see if we can come up with any trend when it comes to winning streaks. Good luck to all and thanks for reading.

Race 1 - 334 yards - Grade TAA - GS RUSTY - box 6 - He's running strong lately and will be trying to make it 3 straight wins against a very tough field. His last two races have been box to wire runs as he's gotten out first and used his very good early speed along with his inside running style to get the lead quickly and never look back.

Race17- 703 yards - Grade TAA - OSHKOSH OPAL - box 1 - A young greyhound with only 15 career starts but who is going for his 4 straight win. In those 15 starts he has accumulated 11 top four finishes which includes 4 wins. He was running in Grade D just a month ago and now finds himself in a top grade race. Loves to run on the inside and drew the 1 box here which puts him as a solid threat. He's got good early speed and can also come from behind and I look for him to challenge for the win once again here.

Race18- 660 yards - Grade AA - KEEPER POCKET - box 7 - Another greyhound going for 4 straight wins who has hit his stride lately and I wouldn't overlook him in this one. Quick out of the box and with 20 wins in 58 starts, he knows how to get around the track and be in good position late to challenge for the win.
