One of the great traditions in all of soccer is the English Premier League's annual Boxing Day slate. This year’s schedule features a couple great games, including a match between the top two teams in the league. Let’s quickly break down each match you can watch December 26.

Tottenham (-175) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion (+465), 7:30 a.m. ET

Spurs need to rebound from a home loss to Chelsea if they want to contend for a Champions League spot. Brighton is trying to hang on and will desperately shoot for a win on the road to vault into the top 10.

Aston Villa (+110) vs. Norwich (+230), 10 a.m. ET

Both teams reside in the relegation zone, and they desperately need points to begin their climb out of the cellar. Aston Villa has lost four in a row and needs to play much better, while Norwich has forced a couple draws and is starting to play with more confidence.

Crystal Palace (+125) vs. West Ham United (+215), 10 a.m. ET

Just one point separates Crystal Palace from the top 10, in a bunched middle of the EPL table. West Ham isn’t far behind, so this match will be important to put some distance between the Hammers and the relegation zone.

Sheffield United (-120) vs. Watford (+345), 10 a.m. ET

Sheffield United has been incredible this season and is only four points out of a Champions League spot in the table. They should beat Watford, even though Watford is on a high following a defeat of Manchester United over the weekend.

Everton (-145) vs. Burnley (+415), 10 a.m. ET

Everton has been playing better the past few weeks and will want to continue that trend against Burnley. Burnley is sitting in 10th place and could move as high as sixth with a win, but Everton will have Carlo Ancelotti on the bench for the first time.

Chelsea (-290) vs. Southampton (+775), 10 a.m. ET

Chelsea hammered Spurs over the weekend and now faces a Saints team that is trying to stay above the relegation line. Chelsea should beat Southampton and look for the Christian Pulisic-Tammy Abraham partnership to have a great day.

Bournemouth (+250) vs. Arsenal (+100), 10 a.m. ET

Arsenal’s form has been terrible lately, but Mikel Arteta has officially taken over as manager, and it could inspire the Gunners to victory. Bournemouth’s form has been worse, but maybe the Cherries can put it together at home and send Arsenal further into turmoil.

Manchester United (-295) vs. Newcastle (+800), 12:30 p.m. ET

Last week Manchester United lost to Watford, which sits in last place, and it is essential that the Red Devils defeat Newcastle at home. Newcastle is level with United on points, and to the winner could go fifth place place and Europa League positioning. The Magpies will keep it close, and this could easily be a draw with a lot of action.

Leicester City (+250) vs. Liverpool (+105), 3 p.m. ET

The top 2 teams in the league face off in Leicester, and the Foxes can make this a race with a win on Boxing Day. Look for Jamie Vardy to be the key to success for Leicester. If Liverpool emerges victorious, it’s probably safe to begin its coronation as 2019-2020 champions.
