NCAAF Thursday preview: SMU vs. Houston

The undefeated SMU Mustangs are ranked 16th in the nation for the first time since 1985 and get a prime-time matchup against AAC rival Houston to showcase just how good they are.

Thursday night NCAAF betting preview: Houston at Tulane

Houston has lost four of its last six road games, while Tulane has won its last four at home. The Cougars defense will struggle in New Orleans against a Tulane offense loaded in the run game. Look for the Green Wave to cover the spread and control the clock to keep the total under 56.5.

Houston vs. Oklahoma NCAAF preview and pick

The Houston Cougars will try to fight fire with fire as their electrifying offense, led by quarterback D’Eriq King, squares off with Alabama transfer Jalen Hurts and the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman on Sunday, September 1. Oklahoma’s defense left plenty to be desired in 2018, but they should prove superior to Houston’s stoppers here.
