Washington Nationals (79-63) at Minnesota Twins (88-55), 7:40 p.m. ET
|Washington Nationals||+1.5 (-155)||+125||Over 10.5 (-105)|
|Minnesota Twins||-1.5 (+130)||-145||Under 10.5 (-115)|
Twins starter Jose Berrios (11-8, 3.78 ERA) has struggled mightily since the beginning of August, but he and his team should prevail over Anibal Sanchez (8-7, 4.11 ERA) and the Nationals on Tuesday night at Target Field.
Berrios owns an 8.07 ERA over his last six starts, but he’ll face a Washington lineup that has little experience against him. As long as he can produce five decent innings, Berrios can hand things off to a Minnesota bullpen that’s tops in the majors in ERA over the last 30 days (3.38).
Sanchez has been trending negatively since the All-Star break, with a 4.79 ERA and 1.95 strikeout/walk ratio. The Nationals’ relief corps owns a 4.80 ERA over the last 30 days, which ranks 18th in the majors. Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco and utility man Marwin Gonzalez, who have combined to go 41-for-120 (.342) with four home runs and 16 RBIs over their last 15 games, are players to keep an eye on in this one.

Oakland Athletics (84-60) at Houston Astros (95-50), 8:10 p.m. ET
|Oakland Athletics||+1.5 (-135)||+145||Over 10 (-110)|
|Houston Astros||-1.5 (+115)||-160||Under 10 (-110)|
The Astros’ seemingly unstoppable offense plays behind a slumping starter in Wade Miley (13-4, 3.35 ERA) against Tanner Roark (9-8, 3.86 ERA) and the A’s on Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park. Bettors should jump on the Over.
Houston has plated 36 runs in its last two games and 56 runs during a five-game win streak. Infielders Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman have been on fire, with the former collecting 10 hits in his last 26 at-bats and the latter amassing 12 hits in the same span. with three home runs and nine RBIs. Outfielders Josh Reddick and George Springer, both 4-for-8 all-time against Roark, figure to contribute in this one too.

Miley owns a 1.841 WHIP over his last six starts, so Oakland should be able to generate some traffic on the bases and help Over bettors cash.
